Hội An PaPa’s Cooking is a local Vietnamese fishing family-run business that shows travellers about the vietnamese people how they live, work and eat.
WHEN WE DO:
We founded Hội An PaPa’s cooking with the vision of creating a sustainable business that would preserve and promote both our environment and our social and cultural values.
WHAT WE DO:
We specialize in organizing and hosting eco-tours in and around Hoi An. We do this by engaging local Vietnamese people who: provide knowledgeable commentary; demonstrate traditional fishing and farming techniques; and then provide our guests with the opportunity for some hands-on experiences.
WHY WE DO IT:
The main purpose of Hội An PaPa’s Cooking is to provide our guest with the opportunity to experience first hand the authentic daily lives of the local fishing and farming communities in and around Hoi An. Our guests benefit through a much deeper appreciation and respect for our people and our way of life - as well as having a thoroughly enjoyable and safe experience with many, many wonderful photo memories

BAY MAU WATER COCONUT FOREST:
Bay Mau water coconut forest belongs to Cam Thanh village in Hoi An. It takes 3 kilometer from the East of Hoi An ancient city. Formerly, it had 7 pieces of water coconuts. That’s why; it was named the Bay Mau water coconut. Now, they are growing with double quantities. Water Coconut is eco brackish water near Cua Dai, the place between big river and beach where are so rich animals and plants. Whenever, water is up then Bird, shrimp, crap, fish...and so…. are coming to find food, grow and bear. And water is down, it remains only small streams, we can see all rivers’ animals run to find any caves or holes for protecting from enemy. Under water coconut leaves, some travelers are driving on basket boats like stay on the blue sky with romantic. That’s all; it helps us forget any tried things from daily works and repair for new working days.
